Who is Kane?

Kane stands rooted in the fertile soil of Hawai‘i’s Big Island, tending not just to plants, but to people. His story weaves the legacy of Uncle Herbert Muniz’s potent noni, the teachings of Dennis Julian Kaulia, and his own vision: Herbs, Herbs Hawai‘i — a living network of healing gardens, golden light sanctuaries, and regenerative community tables.

The Roots: Healing from the Land

Kane’s mission sprouted when his father-in-law offered him a bottle of noni juice like no other — a blend of noni, mamaki, fig leaf, and olive leaf carrying generations of quiet medicine. That first taste pulled Kane to Waipi‘o Valley, to Uncle Herbert’s farm, to stories modern clinics can’t bottle. Now, Kane extends that lineage by feeding people: food as medicine, medicine as food, rooted in aloha ‘āina.

The Vision: House of Golden Light

Through the House of Golden Light Healing Spaces, Kane and his circle of farmers, healers, dancers, breathworkers, and storytellers host three, six, or nine-day immersions. Guests are led to Mauna Kea for prayers, lava fields for renewal, the ocean for cleansing, and communal tables for true nourishment. It’s not a retreat — it’s a return.

Unity Tree: Growing Connection

Kane’s Unity Tree links Indigenous healers, regenerative farmers, and hungry bellies across Hawai‘i. Free meals, free sessions, real stories. Word-of-mouth. When the right people come, the healing ripples outward. The more people give, the more the garden grows.

The Challenges: Fuel and Faith

Shipping costs. Gasoline. Heavy harvests for faraway tables. Kane’s answer stays simple: unconditional giving and trust in the reciprocal nature of land and people. Hungry Heroes Hawai‘i did it on Maui — he’ll keep doing it on Moku O Ke Awe.

The Stories: Pele’s Medicine

Testimonies keep Kane steady. A woman’s vision cleared after noni drops burned away what blocked her light. Some see new colors. Some find new breath. Kane holds the space for each to stand inside their own rainbow.

The Invitation

The world tour starts at home: three, six, nine days in the living garden. Naked beaches, lava flows, conscious food, deep prayers. The Green Garden of Eden, reborn.
